It was still winter during this trip but it was interesting to learn about the history of narrow guage railroads in Colorado and how railraoding was connected to the gold rush days. The Meusem has an HO scale model railraod. The picture for this are not so good because of poor lighting and glare on the plexiglass enclosure. There was also an outside large scale railroad on display.
The museum struggles with funding and I understand that it lives off of public support.
